“ We ate lunch with friends First I am very shy and hesitant to go to this kind of place because it was a little bit pricey and they have this very calm relaxing ambiance But I am glad the staff of roku restaurant were so kind and entertaining Food is yummy the best experience ”

“ This restaurant is located near Kurokabe Square. It is a charming building that was renovated from a merchant house from the late Edo period. We had an Omi beef steak lunch in a calm restaurant with a courtyard with a storehouse. The meal comes with an appetizer, soup, rice, dessert, and a drink. You can optionally upgrade your dessert to a Japanese chestnut Mont Blanc. Not only was the food excellent, but the staff were also very friendly and made for a very pleasant experience! ”

“ The building and interior design are well-designed. The food is of course excellent as well. I do think it's a little pricey, but considering the service, it's great. The Omi beef hamburger steak for lunch was very delicious. ”

“ I went there for lunch while visiting Kurokabe Square. The exterior doesn't look very Western, but it's stylish. The restaurant is very spacious from the entrance, so it can accommodate large groups. We had a nice view of the courtyard while dining, and the atmosphere was great. For lunch, I had a pasta lunch. A bonito appetizer, two types of bread, seafood and mushroom pesto oil pasta, tiramisu, and coffee. The pasta was fragrant and chewy, made with fresh, flat pasta! It also contained mussels and clams, which was delicious. It was a pasta I'd never make myself, so it felt really special. I dipped the bread in olive oil and salt. Everything was delicious. The restaurant was decorated for Christmas, and a Christmas dinner would be wonderful. Of course, the restroom was clean, but the water in the outdoor sink wasn't working, so I didn't know how to get it to work. I washed inside, but... They also offered takeout Mont Blanc dessert. It looked incredibly delicious. I'd definitely like to try it again next time! It was a luxurious lunch for around 2,000 yen. I'm very satisfied! There is no parking lot, so I think you will have to use a nearby paid parking lot. ”

“ The building is an old building that has been well renovated, and the view of the courtyard is also very nice. The seared appetizer was a decent portion. I wish the soup was a little less salty. For steak, I ordered Marc Marc and Chateaubriand, and the Chateaubriand felt like a good deal in terms of quantity. For dessert, I changed to Mont Blanc, which I think was the main course. Since it was the off-season, it was relatively easy to get in. Many people ordered pasta and hamburgers, and I thought that these might be the more common lunch options. ”

“ I visited Shiga for the National Sports Festival. This restaurant has a calm atmosphere and is located in Nagahama Kurokabe Square. I chose the 5,500 yen dinner course, which includes both fish and meat dishes. I loved the mushroom potage. The Omi beef steak I had been longing for was delicious. I was hungry, so I was able to add pasta on the day. The dessert was also excellent. I enjoyed chatting with the staff, and if I were in the area, this is a restaurant I would definitely visit again. ”

“ I was walking around Kurokabe with a friend and saw a restaurant with a nice atmosphere so we decided to go in. I heard that the Omi beef hamburger was their most popular dish, so I ordered it. It was very juicy and delicious! It was a set meal so it came with dessert too, which made me very satisfied. ”
